today i heard on the radio.....a woman who witnessed 12 executions ....how do you deal with this experiences asked the interviewer .....oh ...she said....i have a ritual after each episode.....when i get home.....i have a very...very...very....long shower....i clean myself from everything........................................................
John Lewis, a local radio reporter who was present at the execution, said that while the prisoner was being killed MacPhail family members sat in the front row looking intently at him. As they left the room after he was pronounced dead, some of them smiled.............................."So at least someone got some satisfaction out of this," Lewis said.
